Overshoot Photos is a CAA Licenced Aerial Photography expert, providing aerial photographs and aerial video from a remote controlled Draganflyer X6. Unlike fixed-mast systems, a Draganflyer can take photographs from any angle, over any terrain and can take live motion video. Unlike masts, which stop at about 90 feet, we can fly up to 400 feet (125 metres) high.

We can photograph using colour, black & white, infra-red and video cameras. We can shoot high-up and inaccessible places. We can create 360 degree panoramas - great for an aerial shot of the view from a proposed new build or a bird's eye view of a Golf Course for instance. We use environmentally friendly battery powered motors which are also much quieter than petrol powered craft.

• For Security Organisations we provide aerial video surveillance far more economically and discreetly than a manned aircraft.
• For the Construction Industry we can show the view that a new build will have as well as photographing the whole development over time as it progresses.. For Architects we can survey high and inaccessible building parts quicker than using scaffolding or a cherry picker and with none of that 'Working at Heights' Directive to worry about.

We are granted Permission to fly by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). To take aerial photographs in the UK an operator is required by law to be licenced. Normally, the terms of any Professional Insurance stipulates that CAA regulations are to be adhered to. If you are looking for an aerial shot from an aircraft of any size - UAV, full size, kite, blimp etc - ask them if they are licenced. If they are not, then they are not acting within CAA regulations and their insurance is likely to be invalid. Can you take that risk?

Panoramic Lens

Taking 360° panorama images used to be great hassle. One method is to stand in one place and take a series of photos whilst gradually turning round. There is software available at a price to then stitch it together. However good the software is, there is still evidence of the joins as well as the time consuming effort of the stitching of several images.

We have found a special lens that fits virtually all threaded lens systems and that will take a 360 degree photograph with one shot. Free inclusive software then processes that into a web-ready package. Click here to read on.
