Is 365 Tickets a scam?

365 tickets is an Internet only website that sells tickets to major Attractions all across the UK and Europe. 365 tickets negotiates discounted deals with the Attraction providers from Alton Towers to Legoland as well as Theatre breaks and river cruises. The website is most definitely genuine. Pulse uses 365 Tickets as one of its Affiliate Ticket Agents for BritishVisitor.com and has sold many Attraction tickets to surfers as well as bought them on its own behalf. For some reason, Pulse is currently receiving hits on its website asking if 365 tickets is a scam, so there may be some dodgy websites somewhere passing itself off as the real McCoy.

It gets the unbeatable discounts as it operates online. Once you have paid, 365 tickets lets you print off your own ticket (which has a barcode) at home. You then take this ticket along to the prepaid desk (no queuing in the rain and wind) and they will scan it in. By saving on staffing and postage of 'real, physical' tickets 365 tickets can achieve its discounts of 50% or more to even the top attractions.

The 365 tickets website is genuine. You can click on any of the preceding links to check out the deals (and, yes, Pulse will make a bit of commission if you are kind enough to do so and buy something) or you can go straight to the website at www.365tickets.com. (The ticket prices will be the same, but Pulse will not earn anything - we know what we'd rather you did!)

List of Towns and Villages in Great Britain and Ireland

Do you need a list of towns and villages in the United Kingdom? As part of the British Visitor development, we have created a database of over 3,000 Cities, Town and Villages in the UK. This list increases regularly as does the information that it contains. So far, we have the following information entered:

All Cities and Towns listed for England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and the Irish Republic. This includes attached Islands.
Over 2,500 villages, which is being added to regularly

All locations have the following data:

Name (with location if there are duplicates e.g. 'Alton - Hampshire' and 'Alton - Staffordshire' are two separate entries)
First half of postcode. This can be used with Mapping websites to print a map of the location.
Flag to say if it is a Town/City or a Village
County Identifier
If the location is not a Town or City, then the ID of the nearest Town/City. This can be used in at least two ways. Firstly identifying the nearest Town/City for a particular Village and secondly, for a given Town/City, identifying all the local Villages.
URL link to Wikipedia entry if it exists. If it does not yet exist on Wikipedia, then a link to the page where it should exist should someone create an entry.
